Having already “fixed” the fast food industry by jamming a one-size-fits-all elevated $15/hour minimum wage down the throats of QSRs and the broader restaurant industry, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is apparently looking to do the same for the local farming industry in the Empire State.  Cuomo recently announced that his administration would not defend against a NYCLU lawsuit challenging the exclusion of farm workers from the labor relations act, calling it a “clear and undeniable injustice”.  Isn’t it the government’s job to defend the government’s laws, whether some politician agrees with them or not?  Goes a long way to explaining how we’ve gotten where we are!
