Business Optimism Lags Improved Outlook

According to the NFIB Monthly Index of small business indicators, the outlook registered its 4th highest rating since the Great Recession began.  Despite the July improvement however, business optimism continues to lag significantly behind solid growth.  The July rating of 94.1 is still well below the average reading for the prior 35 years!
