You are invited to participate in this multi-system franchise research study. For each survey that is completed Boston University School of Management will donate $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital whose mission is “to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.”
Ben Lawrence, a doctoral candidate, at Boston University School of Management is conducting this research. This research is interested in gaining a better understanding of the franchisee-franchisor relationship in general and not the specific details about your particular system. This study is specifically interested in understanding the true opinion of real franchisees concerning various types of franchisors. Therefore the research is interested in your responses as someone having experience as a franchisee not as a member of any particular franchise system.
This research is not funded or sponsored by any franchisor or franchisee based organization and is for academic purposes only. No individual or organization other than the researcher will have access to the individual results of this study and the researcher has no ability to link individual respondents with the survey responses. Anonymous aggregate results will be published online on the researcher’s website (www.franchisingresearch.org). A password to access these results will be provided after completing the survey.
Your responses to this study and the identity of your system will remain anonymous and confidential. Your participation in this research is purely voluntary and you can stop the study at any time. This online survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
If you have any questions about this research or your participation in it, either now or at any time in the future, please feel free to ask them.
