The next installment of the Coalition of Franchisee Association (CFA) Virtual Congressional Town Hall series will be held on Tuesday, October 20 beginning at 3:00 PM EST on Zoom. This Town Hall event will feature Oklahoma Congressman Kevin Hern, a former farmer and McDonald’s franchisee who understands well the franchising industry. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required. Hern sold his hog farm over 20 years ago and ultimately built an organization that owned 18 McDonald’s restaurants in the Tulsa area and employed over 1,000 individuals. During that time, he also served on the National Leadership Team in the McDonald’s system for many years as well as on the company’s tax policy team and on the Board of the McDonald’s Insurance Corporation. He was elected to represent Oklahoma ns from the 1st District in 2018 and currently serves on the Small Business, Budget and Natural Resources Congressional Committees.
