One of the unique aspects of the CFA Day Forum is the ability to go to Capitol Hill and actually meet with your elected officials in Washington, DC.  With a new Congress in place, it is especially important to educate them on the effects that certain laws and regulations have on franchisees.  We must help develop bipartisan support for important initiatives such as amending the Affordable Care Act and passing the 40 hours is full time bill;  refuting the NLRB’s joint-employer ruling and other egregious labor regulations; and the fight against the proposed increase in the federal minimum wage.  Armed with the knowledge provided by the legislative workshop, you get the experience of sitting face-to-face with your elected official and letting him/her hear YOUR voice. This is an opportunity that you—as a small-business owner with a lot on the line—can’t afford to miss.  The CFA Lobby Day Forum will be March 24 – 25, 2015 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.  You can register to attend by visiting the CFA Lobby Day Forum registration page here.
