Misty Chally, Executive Director of the Coalition of Franchisee Associations (CFA), was a guest on the Wall to Wall program on the One America News (OAN) network yesterday discussing a number of franchise owner concerns. Specifically, she addressed the possible negative tax ramifications for small businesses that accepted Paycheck Protection Program loans if the pending questions of deductibility are not satisfactorily addressed in Washington. She also spoke to the dramatic need for liability protections for businesses from frivolous lawsuits relating allegation of COVID-19 exposures among other topics.
