The Coalition of Franchisee Association (CFA) has announced that its next virtual Congressional Town Hall Discussion will feature Illinois Congressman Rodney Davis from the 13th Illinois Congressional district. The discussion is scheduled for Thursday, August 27 at 3:00 PM ET. Representative Davis, whose father worked at a McDonald’s restaurant before he became a McDonald’s franchisee, learned many aspects of the franchise world from watching his father and now serves as co-chair of the Congressional Franchise Caucus. He also serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and is a ranking member of the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, which handles several of CFA’s key legislative priorities (the gas tax, rest stop commercialization and tolling). Join DDIFO and CFA on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 3 p.m. ET to hear from the congressmen and discuss matters impacting franchisees.
