Krispy Kreme announced this week that the company’s new flagship store in New York’s Times Square is slated to open on September 15. The store was originally scheduled to open back in June of 2019, but that opening was delayed for months until May of this year when the coronavirus pandemic pushed it off further. Krispy Kreme now plans to open the 4500 square-foot location with stadium seating next month. It is also slated to have a glaze waterfall and will be open 24 hours each day and 7 days each week. The company also plans a reopening of its Penn Station store and a major expansion in the New York market over the next few years.
