In their ongoing quest to develop a stronger and more consistent lunchtime customer, Starbucks began promoting an $8 “Power lunch” this week. The limited time offer incorporates a choice from 24 items including sandwiches, panini, salads, or wraps among other items. The options do not include coffee or tea. Dairy Queen announced last week that it has begun offering more coffee and coffee flavored drinks as a standard on its menu. The company is looking to shore up its afternoon crowd and therefore is offering discounts on the new coffee flavored beverages between 2 and 5 PM.
