Earlier this week, it was announced that Starbucks had opened its first of what they project will be 1,000 global Reserve stores, dedicated to its premium Reserve brand. This first is located at the company headquarters in Seattle. Also, it was reported that they are reducing the number of products in their stores by as much as 30% over the coming months – a reduction that could translate into hundreds of individual products coming off the shelves. With the 2018 Winter Olympics officially over now, apparently so too is McDonalds 42 year sponsorship of the International Olympics Committee and its global marketing agreement with the Golden Arches – a full three years ahead of schedule!
