govinauguration010511aAs we reported last week, Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy is pushing S.32, a proposal to increase the state’s minimum wage to $10.10 an hour by 2017.  As a result, and not one to let world crises get in the way of a good political opportunity, President Obama visited Connecticut this week to push for an identical increase to the federal minimum wage and raise some political financial capital.  The minimum wage issue is not going away anytime soon.
