In what must be one of the more glaring cases of dual political personality, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo this week made quite the splash as he advocated for tax incentives to help attract businesses to New York.  Cuomo made the comments at a new solar panel factory in Buffalo,  that was lured to the state by $750 million in state subsidies.  Recall that just last week, we reported on the decision of Cuomo’s Fast Food Wage Board, which coincidentally was chaired by Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown, to mandate that fast food employees be paid a minimum of $15/hour.  The Wage Board’s alleged “deliberations” at the behest of the governor focused solely on fast food employees and their final mandate applies only to employees of fast food establishments.
