We’re safely getting back into the swing of member meetings and following all CDC protocols when our first meeting since before the pandemic is held at the Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O’Hare Hotel on Wednesday, June 16. The program, Thriving as a Franchise Employer in the New Normal, will begin at 11:30 AM and feature Chicago-based labor and employment law attorney Rob Bernstein, a partner with Laner Muchin, as well as attorney David Paris, founding partner of Paris Ackerman, LLP. Rob will cover the broad array of labor and employment changes that have taken place over the past 15 months against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, while David will be speak about the issues you should consider when buying or selling a Dunkin’ network. He will also touch on the importance of including certain COVID-focused provisions in the P&S Agreement and the impact COVID has had on the financing and real estate components of these transactions.
