We were excited to learn about the Dunkin’ “Dozen Days of Joy” effort launched this week across the country. For our subscribers not in the Dunkin’ system, over the 12 day span ending December 23, Dunkin’ will visit 12 select cities and randomly distribute $120,000 in free gift cards. In addition, a $1,000 donation will be made to a local organization in each of the 12 cities to help bring joy to kids battling hunger or illness. We also noted a creative marketing promotion underway in Los Angeles, where through December 16, Starbucks customers who present a Starbucks app at the Dunkin’ counter when ordering will get a free small latte or espresso. Hmmm, “Starbucks customers run on Dunkin’?”
