Well, Dunkin’ is officially the inaugural inductee to the Quincy (Massachusetts) Business Hall of Fame, with CEO Dave Hoffmann receiving the honor at the Quincy Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting last week. Hoffmann was the keynote speaker for the event earlier this week. A bit further south of Quincy, loyal Dunkin’ customer Korey Nolan of Plymouth made headlines with his new surfboard, made from over 700 styrofoam Dunkin’ coffee cups. The surfboard, which at 15 lbs. is much heavier than most, earned Nolan a 2nd place finish in the international Creators & Inventors Upcycle Contest. And finally, we can pretty much declare that the trains run on Dunkin’ in New Jersey – or at least they do at the Hamilton Township commuter station. We found this story about Dunkin’ employees opening up the station for the AM commuters intriguing and a bit lighthearted, but thought you might enjoy it nonetheless!
