Over the July 4th holiday, it was announced that Dunkin’ had for the first time, finally broken into the list of Most Patriotic American Brands produced annually by Brand Keys, coming in at #13. The annual survey, which began after the 9/11 terrorist attack, tries to measure consumer perceptions of which companies most embody the values of patriotism. Congratulations, Dunkin’! On another note, newly announced Dunkin’ delivery partner GrubHub fired back at US Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who recently tweeted accusations that the company was fraudulently charging for deliveries that were not being made in New York City. Schumer called on the Small Business Administration (SBA) to investigate it and report back to Congress.
