Late last week, Dunkin’ Brands CEO Dave Hoffmann introduced Stephanie Lilak as the company’s new Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She joins Dunkin’ Brands from General Mills where she has served in a number of executive positions over a 23 year span at the company, most recently as Vice President, Human Resources, North America Retail. At Dunkin’, she will report directly to Hoffmann and head global employee recruitment, training, and leadership development and work closely with franchisees as co-chair of the Dunkin’ People Systems Subcommittee. Welcome aboard, Stephanie! On Wednesday, Dunkin’ launched its plant-based meat sandwich in Manhattan with CEO Dave Hoffmann and Beyond Meats CEO Ethan Brown serving the ceremonial first sandwich! Samples of the new “Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwich” were also handed out to patrons throughout the morning at all Manhattan locations. Finally, we noted that the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) was published recently with Dunkin’ placing in the top tier again in the limited service category – tied with Yum Brands and just below Starbucks. Chick-fil-A was the segment’s highest rated. ACSI polls 40,000 US consumers and its results again showed these priorities: (1) order accuracy, (2) courtesy and staff helpfulness, and (3) beverage quality and taste.
