There’s a mix of good news and not great news on the Dunkin’ specific front to report this week. First off, the impending departure of Dunkin Chief Marketing Officer Tony Weisman was news that franchisees were not thrilled to learn of this week. Tony, who was brought on board by CEO Dave Hoffmann was instrumental in the successful launch of a host of new Dunkin’ products and initiatives. As much as Tony will be missed by the franchisee community, we are equally convinced of his future success and wish him unbridled success in his next chapters! All the best, Tony! And on the statistical front, Dunkin’ continues to rule the roost when it comes to drive-thru service times, finishing first in the recently released 2019 Drive Thru Performance Study published by QSR. Dunkin again finished first in speed with a total of 216.75 seconds, a full 14 seconds faster than runner-up Wendy’s.
