Dunkin’ President Scott Murphy announced this week that Chief Marketing Officer Rafael Acevedo was stepping down and leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. Acevedo’s tenure at Dunkin’ was short-lived. He was hired just 9 months ago to fill the position left vacant almost two and a half years ago with the departure of then-CMO Tony Weisman. Presumably unrelated, it was announced this week that Dunkin reached agreement with E.L.F. Cosmetics for a new limited-edition makeup collection (“Wake up and Makeup”) featuring an array of donut and coffee inspired shades, shapes, textures and scents. We all know America Runs on Dunkin’, we’ll soon know if Makeup Runs on Dunkin’ too!
