Congratulations are again in order for a couple of individuals and a company within the Dunkin’ system. First off, congrats to franchisee Rob Branca on his election to the Board of Directors for the International Franchise Association (IFA). Rob was elected to the Board last week along with seven other new Directors, two of whom are franchise owners along with Branca. A former Chairman of the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, Rob also serves as a BAC member, Chair of the Northeast RAC, and is currently the franchisee Chair of the Inspire Brands Government Affairs Subcommittee. Of course, he has long been a leader in the franchisee community and still serves in leadership roles with DDIFO as well as the Coalition of Franchisee Associations (CFA). Congratulations Rob! And this week at the Dunkin’ convention out in Las Vegas, the National DCP was recognized with the 2022 Dunkin’ Partner of the Year Award! In presenting the award, Dunkin’ President Scott Murphy recognized the National DCP for helping “maintain the continuity of supply chain and control[ling] costs for franchisees. . .” Congratulations to the National DCP on the recognition. We also took note last week of the hiring of Dunkin’ Regional Vice President Maria Hollandsworth as the new Chief Operating Officer for El Pollo Loco. She’ll assume the COO position role with the California-based chicken chain on October 31. We wish her well in her new role. Congratulations, Maria!
