Dunkin’ Donuts is now a powerhouse in helping customers save on the price of gas.
More than 1,700 Dunkin’ Donuts locations in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island are now participating in Override, the region’s leading fuel rewards program. Savings earned at Dunkin’ Donuts can be redeemed at participating Gulf Oil and Irving Oil locations throughout New England.
More than $13 million has been returned to Override participants since the program was introduced in July 2007. Dunkin’ Donuts locations in Maine and New Hampshire joined Override in 2008, and continue to offer savings at more than 350 sites in those two New England states.
“Dunkin’ Donuts and Override is the perfect summertime combination. Enjoy your favorite morning beverage and snack at Dunkin’s and that’ll help you save money as you drive to the beach or to any of your other warm-weather activities. It’s that easy,” said Override CEO Mike Crosby.
Saving on the price of gas is quick and simple. Customers only need to register a Dunkin’ Donuts Card at www.dunkindonuts.com. When purchases at a participating Dunkin’ Donuts total $20 on their registered card, customers will earn 5 cents off the price of a gallon of gas at participating Gulf and Irving stations.
The savings are valid for 30 days and customers can combine the savings they’ve earned during any 30-day period to lower their price of gas even more. The registered Dunkin’ Donuts Card used to make purchases can be swiped directly at the pump or redeemed inside the store at a participating Irving or Gulf.
Customers can also earn savings at about 200 participating Shaw’s Supermarkets and Star Market locations throughout all of New England.
