The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has opened the portal for filing of the 2017 Employer Information Report (EEO-1 Survey) with a reporting deadline of March 31, 2018. We would advise our subscribers that there is a change in the way this year’s report is to be completed in that employers who “regularly report” to client sites must now report such employees on the EEO-1 using the client site address and not the employer’s address. The guidance released by the EEOC does not define what is considered “regularly” reporting, so the impact of the change on Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) audits is not known at the current time.
