senatecontrolAs the dust from the “Republican Red Tide of 2014” settles, we’ve seen any number of analyses as to what the election results will mean for various constituencies when the 114th Congress takes its place at the beginning of the New Year.  One item that seems high on everyone’s list is a possible return to the 40 hour work week for purposes of implementation of the Affordable Care Act.  In fact, that was specifically mentioned as a priority in a Wall Street Journal Op-Ed by Speaker of the House John Boehner and soon-to-be Majority Leader Mitch McConnell that ran right after the election.  Among the avalanche of analyses, this one by McDermott Will & Emory had some great points.
