obamacare-logo_fullAs we’ve reported to you in the past, the Affordable Care Act initially required covered employers to provide notice of the health insurance requirement and the availability of state health care exchanges to all their employees by Tuesday, October 1, 2013.  Although that requirement is still technically in place, as we told you in last week’s issue, the penalties for non-compliance are being waived, so that although you are required to give notice, you will not be penalized for not doing so.  Should you wish to provide the notice now, you can access the form here.
