DDIFO is pleased to announce that Kevin Bruce, CEO, of the National Distribution Commitment Partnership (NDCP) will be one of the featured speaker at the March 3rd, Dunkin’ Donuts Franchise Owners meeting in Westborough, MA.
Kevin Bruce has over 25 years of proven experience in leading private and public corporations to breakthrough market, financial, and operational successes. Notably, Kevin has consistently increased enterprise and shareholder value in many organizations regardless of difficult situations, circumstances, and challenges associated with uncertain economic conditions.
Prior to Dunkin’ Donuts NDCP, Kevin served as President and CEO of United Site Services Inc., focusing on expanding and diversifying products, service and markets, consolidating operations and regions to reduce costs, achieving service delivery excellence, executing and integrating acquisitions and restructuring balance sheets.
Kevin’s has also held positions as President and CEO of Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation, a privately held foodservice equipment/services company, Executive Group President of U.S. Core markets at LSG Lufthansa/Sky Chefs, Inc., President Supply Chain and concurrently President & CEO Builders Supply and Lumber at Pulte Corporation, and Vice President of Worldwide Equipment for PepsiCo Food Systems Worldwide.
DDIFO is also pleased to announce that Dan Field of Morgan, Brown & Joy represents employers in labor and employment matters with a special focus on wage and hour compliance and litigation defense in employment disputes. He has counseled numerous employers on compliance with federal overtime regulations, Massachusetts independent contractor rules, state Wage Act standards and has defended companies facing government audits and private class action wage and hour lawsuits.
Dan also represents employers in state and federal courts, and agency investigations involving claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, and breach of contract arising from employment relationships. His practice also includes counseling on employment law compliance, including employment policy development, preparing employee handbooks and human resources management training.
Dan joined Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP, from the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office where he was the Chief of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Fair Labor Division, which is Massachusetts’ principal labor law enforcement authority. He was responsible for overseeing enforcement of Massachusetts overtime, independent contractor, payment of wage, tip pooling, minimum wage, and child labor laws.
Dan represented the Attorney General before the legislature, providing testimony and preparing legislation on labor standards, as well as drafting public guidelines for compliance. Working jointly with the United State Department of Labor, he prosecuted cases involving overtime, pension-benefit, tax and insurance fraud. While an assistant attorney general, Dan also defended state agencies in a variety of employment disputes. From 1991-97 he served as an assistant district attorney with the Middlesex County District Attorney where he was awarded a special citation for distinguished service. A seasoned litigator, Dan has an extensive civil and criminal trial experience, serving as lead counsel in more than 50 jury trials.
