The delayed public hearing on the Protect Florida Small Business Act, which will restore some semblance of balance to the franchisee-franchisor relationship in Florida is now set for this coming Tuesday, April 4 between 4:00-6:00 PM in the state capitol in Tallahassee. The bill (SB 750) will be heard by the Florida Senate Committee on Regulated Industries. The Coalition of Franchisee Associations has endorsed the legislation and its Chairman Keith Miller, has had an excellent Op-Ed published in some of the Florida newspapers. We encourage our members and subscribers to contact the members of the committee and encourage them to support the Protect Florida Small Business Act.
