Quad City Times reports that the new Dunkin’ Donuts store in Moline is set to open in mid-December.
McCall Bodi Gosselin, communications manager for Dunkin’ Brands Inc., the parent company of the national doughnut chain, said the store will be the first of up to 15 Dunkin’ Donuts to be located in the Quad-Cities over a seven-year span.
It originally was scheduled to open in mid-September in a former KFC restaurant at 3501 Avenue of the Cities.
The franchise owner is Sam Patel of Moline.
John Corelis, senior vice president of NAI Ruhl & Ruhl Commercial, said he is the broker representing Patel, who has franchise rights for the market. Corelis said they are looking at various sites in the metro area and surrounding region. That includes a Davenport location where final details of a franchise agreement are being completed.
