The International Franchise Association (IFA), which has gone through some staff changes since former President and CEO Robert Cresanti announced his departure last year, recently announced that it had appointed Michael Layman as the new senior vice president for government affairs. New President and CEO Matt Haller, who formerly held the position until he was elevated to CEO in the wake of Cresanti’s departure, announced the appointment of Layman who has been with the organization for the past seven years. He previously worked at Littler Mendelson where he helped establish the firm’s government relations practice. We congratulate Michael and wish him the best of luck with his new responsibilities!
