99410-McCafeKraft Foods is teaming with McDonald’s for a coffee deal.  After being rumored for several years, the two companies have announced plans to test McCafe Coffee products in test markets.  This provides Wall Street analysts some new news to talk about and reinforces the so-called ‘portfolio effect’, where restaurant products are leveraged through the consumer packaged goods channel.  Currently, most grocery stores have about 20 “premium” coffee SKUs, aside from Folgers and Maxwell House.
