Along with the many minimum wage changes taking place, there are often corresponding changes required to labor law posters that small businesses must be aware of and in compliance with.  DDIFO is looking at a program to help our members address this issue, but in the meantime we would advise that no fewer than 19 state level labor law posters will be changed early in 2017.  These will include 13 minimum wage posters from the above list states and a posting regarding a change to the Delaware discrimination law as well as the new Vermont paid sick leave law that takes effect January 1. Furthermore, we can guarantee a number of federal poster changes will be mandated beginning with the new federal contractor wage and paid sick leave requirements.  In addition, changes to the Louisiana Earned Income Tax Credit, the state OSHA law in Wyoming and Arizona’s new sick leave benefit will all require new posters at a minimum.
