The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, a federation of state and local occupational safety nonprofits, released its Dirty Dozen 2019 report Wednesday. The annual report lists employers that the council believes put workers at risk – and this year, McDonald’s made the cut for its “failure to act” on more than 2 dozen sexual harassment complaints. The US Small Business Administration (SBA) will host its annual Small Business Week beginning next Friday, May 3. The week includes seminars, an awards dinner, a virtual conference and other events. And finally dude, Carls Jr offered a CBD-infused burger last week on April 20 (4-20 is a holiday celebrated by marijuana enthusiasts). The $4.20 Rocky Mountain High Cheese Burger Delight was only available at one of the brand’s Denver locations and it sold out completely by 4:00 PM. CBD is a non-hallucinogenic oil found in hemp and thought to have strong medicinal properties.
