Krispy Kreme placed highest in the Coffee/Snack segment at 51% score (In and Out was highest overall, all segments at 62%). Dunkin Donuts placed well, at number 37 of 126 brands at 45%, Tim Horton’s at 45% and Starbucks at 44%. McDonald’s was the lowest at number 126 of 126, with an overall loyalty score of only 28%. Baskin as a brand was in the lower third, at 83/126 or a score of 39%. Although the research is imperfect, with brands with geographical clusters (like Krispy Kreme), it is one view of the industry other than proprietary brand research.
