Miller Pulse also released its quarterly report on restaurant sales this week, and generally speaking, it was pretty good news all around. Same store sales among quick service restaurants and casual-dining chains were both up 1.4 % over the 2017 Q2 results. Further, although traffic was down 1% overall, it was still an improvement over the 2.3 decline in Q1 and the decline continues to slow, notwithstanding an increase in pricing. Miller Pulse is optimistic looking forward.
