Starbucks has finalized its deal with Nestlé where the latter wins the perpetual rights to market Starbucks packaged coffee and tea brands including Starbucks, Seattle’s Best, TeavanaTM/MC, Starbucks VIA Instant, Torrefazione Italia coffee and Starbucks-branded K-cups. Last week, McDonalds announced a new global job training initiative to prepare youth for entering the job market and solidifying their careers. In Chicago, the initiative earmarks $1 million for community grants where job training programs are in place and an additional $1 million to Skills for Chicagoland’s Future, a local non-profit trying to develop a strong labor pipeline.
