Speaking of “joint-employer”, rendered by the National Labor Relations Board, we noted the NLRB has filed a petition for certiorari with the Supreme Court of the United States regarding to review the decision invalidating rulings by the illegally appointed acting General Counsel Lane Solomon.  The case came through the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, which ruled last August that Lane Solomon, nominated by President Obama as NLRB General Counsel in 2011 and again in 2013, was not validly appointed, hence his decisions were invalidated as well.  The appointment was invalidated because it violated the Federal Vacancies Reform Act which, passed into law by Congress back in 1998, established certain parameters for a presidential nominee to properly fill the relevant vacancy.
