That’s right, the 2018 DDIFO National Conference in New Orleans Louisiana is just 10 short days away, beginning one week from Monday on June 11. The annual highlight event begins with an opening address by Dave Andelman, CEO of The Phantom Gourmet and will also feature attorney Robert Zarco discussing Encroachment, Private Equity and other legal trends as well as international supply chain expert attorney Sarah Walters speaking to best practices within the supply cooperatives and how the NDCP measures up. John Motta, co-chairman of the Dunkin’ development sub-committee will lead a discussion on experiences thus far with the Next Generation Store and we’ll conclude Monday presentations with ICE Special Agent Steve Cole explaining and discussing ICE’s IMAGE program helping businesses comply with immigration law. Tuesday will begin with Michael Kelter, Nicole Miller and John Gordon discussing Dunkin’ economics, at the store level and higher, followed by attorneys Diane Saunders and Chris Menihan covering specific issues relating class action lawsuits. We’ll then enjoy the closing keynote address by Andy Puzder, former CEO of CKE Restaurants (Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr). The 2018 Conference will then reach its zenith with the induction of Adrian Gaspar, Jose Salema and Rod Valencia into the DDIFO Hall of Fame.
