Despite “fake news” stories (a CNN report) alleging that President-elect Trump’s Labor Secretary nominee Andy Puzder, CEO of CKE Restaurants (parent company of Carl;’s Jr. and Hardee’s), is contemplating backing out, his nomination is moving forward.  The US Senate Committee on Health, Education Labor & Pensions (HELP) has apparently rescheduled the nomination hearing for Thursday, February 2. Puzder reaffirmed that he was looking forward to his hearing in a tweet this past Monday evening. As we’ve advised, the International Franchise Association has created this website to support the Puzder nomination and to allow you an easy way by which to generate letters of endorsement to the Senate on his behalf.  Puzder is a former IFA Board member. We encourage you to take that opportunity now and do so.
