QSR Magazine’s ever popular drive-thru performance survey was released earlier this week. The survey again followed the same revised methodology implemented last year and thereby allows for year over year comparisons. In that vein, accuracy improved in all dayparts year over year except lunch, where it dropped 0.6%. We see the exact opposite result in terms of speed of service by daypart – each daypart was a bit slower year over year with the exception of lunch, which trimmed .07 seconds off service from 214.47 in 2014 to 2014.40 this year. Overall, as we might expect breakfast had the quickest service with service slowing as the day dragged on. You can read more of the survey results here.
