Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Dunkin’ Donuts are pleased to again offer the perfect gift for the coffee lover in your life: the Dunkin’ Donuts Mug of Hope.
This “bottomless” travel mug entitles the owner to unlimited free refills of coffee or tea at Western New York Dunkin’ Donuts locations through Dec. 31. Plus, the mug features original artworks created by pediatric cancer patients, and all proceeds will benefit cancer research and patient care at Roswell Park.
Initially launched at the start of the 2009 holiday season, supplies of the Mug of Hope quickly sold out thanks to an enthusiastic response from supporters in Western New York. The mugs are available for $100 by calling 845-8788 or visiting the Roswell Park gift shop, located at Elm & Carlton Streets in Buffalo.
The unlimited refills entitled to the purchaser offer a value estimated at approximately $500 if used daily, and even more if purchasers “run on Dunkin’ in 2010.”
“We are extremely grateful to Western New York for their generous and enthusiastic support of this program, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts in these efforts,” said Donald L. Trump, MD, President and CEO of Roswell Park Cancer Institute. “We honor and take pride in the young patients who have contributed the artwork featured on the mug, and we take heart in the knowledge that this program will raise needed funds to help save lives in the future.”
