The US Small Business Administration (SBA) this week released the list of recipients of Paycheck Protection Program loans made across the country. The release was delineated by the size of the loan granted to a business. For loans above $150,000, the information includes the borrowing entity name and address as well as the number of jobs covered under the loan application along with other voluntary demographic information (race, gender, veteran status, etc.). Additionally, the loan amounts granted were also disclosed within a range as opposed to a specific dollar amount. For loans below $150,000, of which there were over 4 million, borrower names are not disclosed and the total amounts are reported in the aggregate by state.
