Lawyer Robert Zarco, who represents the Cold Stone franchisees, said the program unfairly put the big chill on their businesses by relying solely on a former Florida franchisee Cecil Rolle, who already lost a legal battle against the company making similar, if not identical, charges.

Caldeira will speak to New England Franchise Association (NEFA) on Tuesday, November 9th at the Marriott Hotel, 2345 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton. Caldeira is the new President and CEO of the (IFA), the world’s oldest and largest organization representing franchising worldwide. He started his new position as IFA President on June 15th, 2010. Caldeira has New England ties and was most recently director of Global Communications for Dunkin Brands.
