Dunkin’ Donuts Announces Seven New Restaurants

Restaurants and Institution Magazine reports that Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s favorite every day, all-day stop for coffee and baked goods, announced today the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement with Roadrunner Markets for seven new restaurants in Tri-Cities, TN and the surrounding areas of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The first two locations are anticipated to open in 2011 and the remainder by 2015. Dunkin’ Donuts development in Tri-Cities is part of a steady and strategic growth strategy, which includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities across the country to help drive the leading coffee and bakery chain’s growth.

Bank’s Pullout Idles Dunkin’ Donuts Construction

The construction of a Dunkin’ Donuts in the LaGrange town center remains at a standstill due to lack of capital. “The bank pulled the financing,” said Nick Palumbo, co-developer of the project on Route 55, next to Arlington High School. After receiving town Planning Board approval in June to build the Dunkin’ Donuts, Palumbo and co-developer Joe Deangelis made rapid progress in constructing the foundation and frame of the two-story structure.

Dunkin’ Donuts Introduces New Peppermint Mocha Latte

Dunkin’ Donuts has introduced new Peppermint Mocha Latte topped with whipped cream and a mocha drizzle available through late December at participating restaurants. The company said that lattes are made with espresso derived from coffee beans and steamed milk and a sugar substitute of 70 calories for a small 10 oz serving. All Dunkin’ Donuts’ espresso beverages are available in regular or decaffeinated, hot or iced. In addition, it is also serving small hot lattes for the value price of $1.99 for a limited time from November 25, 2009 at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide. Dunkin’ Donuts Dark Roast packaged coffee is also now available in participating restaurants throughout the US.
