N.Y. Lawmaker Seeks to Ban Salt in Restaurants

New York Assemblyman, Felix Ortiz, a Democrat and a longtime proponent of menu labeling, said in his written introduction to the salt ban bill that it would give more control to restaurant customers by allowing them to add salt to their own meals after they have been prepared.
