Last week, we reported on local legislation filed by Bangor Maine city councilor Joe Balducci to increase the minimum wage within the capital city of Maine to $8.25 by 2016 then jumping to $9.75 by 2018.  This week, however, we’re happy to report that there doesn’t seem to be much support for the proposal among other councilors, who are choosing to wait for hearings before they formally state a position.
