Continuing full speed ahead to fill a host of important positions in his administration, President Trump last week nominated FedEx Executive Scott Mugno to lead the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) at the Department of Labor. Mugno, who previously headed up corporate safety health and fire prevention for FedEx Express and is currently vice president of safety, sustainability and vehicle maintenance at FedEx Ground, has been a critic of OSHA in the past. He has proposed incorporating sunset provisions in OSHA regulations. His nomination, which requires US Senate Confirmation, has yet to be scheduled in the Senate.
