texas_biz_carousel-304Speaking of interesting reports, New York based Development Counsellors International, surveyed 356 executives to determine which cities are most and least “business-friendly”.  Not surprisingly, California and New York retained their positions as the least business-friendly states in the nation from the last time the survey was conducted back in 2011.  On the positive side of the ledger, the 2014 Study, entitled Winning Strategies in Economic Development Marketing, has Texas topping the list as business-friendly, followed by Florida, with North Carolina and Georgia tying for third place.
