Kendall Hatch reports in the MetroWest Daily News that an employee of an Ashland Dunkin’ Donuts working one day at a Framingham shop was arrested Sunday after she was seen on security video stealing cash from the store, police said.
Traci Theobald, 39, was brought in from an Ashland Dunkin’ Donuts shop to work to noon to 7 p.m. shift at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Waverley Street Saturday, police spokesman Lt. Ron Brandolini said.
A store manager at the Waverley Street location called police on Sunday morning and said money was missing.
When reviewing the security footage from Saturday, police saw Theobald taking cash and supplies from several locations in the store.
“She was observed on video taking money from the cash box and two cash drawers, along with some cleaning supplies,” said Brandolini.
Theobald was just about to clock out for the day when she took the money and supplies, Brandolini said.
Theobald, who lives at 7 Ruthellen Road, was arrested at home at 10:15 Sunday morning and charged with breaking and entering, larceny from a building or rail car and larceny of more than $250.
Police would not say how much money Theobald took from the store.
